Juneteenth, also known as Emancipation Day, is celebrated annually on June 19 to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. Juneteenth of New Bern will PROUDLY be celebrating African American culture with a series of Juneteenth inspired events kicking off Saturday June 8th until Friday June 21st.
