DESCRIPTION: Continuing the trend here of looking at mixtapes I feel that the later portion of what was considered the mix-tape era often goes under appreciated and this project by Lil Uzi Vert is a strong example of that. While it doesn’t show the lyrical prowess many had come to expect when talking about the concept of a tap this project did stand out for its unique soundscape and made Uzi much more of a household name before the bigger successes he would see in coming years.
