Clearly some people STILL don’t understand the meaning behind Colin Kaepernick and others kneeling during the National Anthem, and President Donald Trump is one of them.

Trump says that if the NFL allows players to kneel during the anthem when the season restarts, then he will not be watching.

Dr. Anthony Fauci warned earlier this week that, “It would be very hard to see how football is able to be played this fall. If there is a second wave, which is certainly a possibility and which would be complicated by the predictable flu season, football may not happen this year.”

Trump replies saying, “Tony Fauci has nothing to do with NFL Football. They are planning a very safe and controlled opening.” Trump then adds, “However, if they don’t stand for our National Anthem and our Great American Flag, I won’t be watching!!!”

The NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell released a video earlier this month admitting that the league was wrong for how they handled the Colin Kaepernick situation, adding that they support peaceful, non-violent protest by players.
