If you didn’t know already, President Donald Trump is coming to Greenville on Wednesday night!

Early Wednesday morning, crowds were already forming outside of Minges Coliseum on ECU’s campus. About 1000 people were waiting at 11:00 a.m. This visit is for Trump’s campaign rally to get more votes for the 2020 election, a visit he also made in 2016 during the campaign season.

Tonight, doors open at 4:00 p.m., Trump is expected to speak around 7:00 p.m. With 8000 seats in Minges, those working the event are expecting every seat to be filled.

Vice President Mike Pence plans to attend a private fundraiser for 9th Congressional District candidate Dan Bishop in Fayetteville and then speak to Fort Bragg military personnel and guests before joining Trump in Greenville.

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos will be in Raleigh on Wednesday to talk about her tax credit proposal designed to expand school-choice options. Lt. Gov. Dan Forest is among event participants.
