Greenville Police say two people were shot during a home invasion on Sunday night at Carolina Creek Apartments, located at 2220 University Suites Drive, formerly known as University Suites.

Investigators say at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a reported home invasion with shots fired at an apartment. At the scene, officers found two suspects had forcibly entered the apartment and fired gunshots at two residents inside, wounding both of them.

The two victims were taken to Vidant Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects were described as two black males wearing black hoodies, who were last seen leaving University Suites Drive on foot.

Investigators said they do not believe this is a random act.
