Some are in rage while others are not shocked at all that a woman is who bailed R. Kelly out of jail when he could not come up with the $100,000 he owed to be released from police custody. That was 10% of his $1 million bond.
The woman has been identified as Valencia P. Love, a childhood “friend” of Kelly, from Romeoville. “If your friend was in trouble, wouldn’t you bail them out?” she said. “I only helped a friend out.” Kelly has to surrender his passport and can have no contact with any females younger than 18.
Even though Kelly is out, he still owes his ex-wife Drea Kelly, $160,000 in child support that needs to be paid by March 6th or else he’ll be right back in jail. Prosectors are now looking to charge Kelly with a crime of failing to pay child support, and Drea’s management team says she will “support any and all efforts that will make sure that his children are taken care of.” Any amount over $20,000 can be filed as a felony.
R. Kelly’s attorney, Steven Greenberg, tells TMZ, “In 30 years of practicing criminal defense law, I have never seen anyone prosecuted for non-payment of child support. Maybe it happens, but I’ve never seen it done in Illinois.”
His next court appearance for the 10 counts of sexual abuse will be March 22nd. He face 3-7 years her count, if convicted.
Michael Avenatti handed over a second sex tape to prosecutors this week, and claims there is a third sex tape of Kelly with an underage child.
