After 35 days, Donald Trump has announced that he will reopen the government for 3 weeks. He said a deal has been reached. A temporary fix that will allow federal employees to return to work but it does not include the $5.7 billion for his wall.
The Democrats keep telling Trump in order for them all the sit down to discuss the wall, he must sign a measure to reopen the government.
“If we don’t get a fair deal from Congress, the government will either shut down on February 15 again, or I will use the powers afforded to me under the laws and the Constitution of the United States to address this emergency,” Trump said. “We will have great security.”
