On Wednesday, Donald Trump signed a bill that will guarantee the almost 800,000 federal workers who haven’t been paid since the government has been shutdown, will get back pay once the shutdown ends. All but federal contractors.

This means, he expects everyone to go back to work. Without pay, yet bills are still due.

For us normal people, this mean tax refunds may come out in time. About 46,000 IRS workers will be heading back to work with tax filing season just 2 weeks away.

This shutdown has become the longest in U.S. history as we approaching the 3rd week. All of this over a $5 billion wall that Trump will just not let go of.
