Steph Curry has warmed my heart for the week! A 9-year-old girl in California by the name of Riley wrote him a letter explain how much she loved watching his games with her dad, and recently asked her father to buy her a pair of Curry 5s, but once on the site, she realized that the shoes don’t come in girl sizes. She acknowledged that she know he supports female athletes because he holds an all-girls basketball camp and has two daughters himself.
Curry answered the young lady in a handwritten letter on Twitter, reassuring her that he talked to Under Amour who is working to fix the issue with girl sizes so she can “wear his kicks proudly.” He said he would send her a pair of Curry 5s and she would be one of the first kids to have the Curry 6s. Adding that he wanted her to come out to his International Women’s Day celebration in Oakland.
Check it out! How sweet is that!
