FEMA is still working to help counties and communities affected by Hurrican Florence. The mobile units are offering in-person assistance to homeowners and renters who have suffered several damages. There are two units set up in Grifton and Grimesland.

FEMA External Affairs says, “We’re trying to bring the services to the people, make it easy as possible for people to register for assistance and get answers to their questions. It’s all about being convenient, making things more convenient.”

The units are located at the Grifton Fire Department parking lot at 550 River Street in Grimesland. The centers are open starting Monday and they will be offering support for only three days from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
