Cardi B stepped in to play Coreytta Scott King in a skit for Rip Michaels’ show “Off the Rip’ – and it didn’t go over we well. After seeing Cardi’s portrayal of Bernice King mother and reference to her father- being the youngest child of Martin Luther King Jr. And Coretta Scott King – responded calling it “repulsive” and “false.”
Bernice wanted to speak to Cardi face to face and she did. She says Cardi has apologized for the skit and all is forgiven.
Thank you, @iamcardib, for reaching out to me and apologizing for the skit that aired on @TMZ. I look forward to talking with you soon.

As for the skit’s creator, Rip, he stands by his work and says all the blame pointed at Cardi is unfair because she didn’t write it.
