Onslow County deputies have charged military police officer, Jairo Palacio with statutory rape of a child less than 15 year of age. Palacio, 42, is a military police officer with the Provost Marshal’s Office at Camp Lejeune. He was arrested by the Raleigh-Durham Airport Police when he returned from out of the country.

Deputies learned that the girl was 15-years-old.
