NBA player Chris Paul, guard for the Rockets, has just donated $2.5 million to his alma mater Wake Forest University. The money will go towards the Wake Forest Men and Women Basketball programs, expanding and enhancing their locker rooms, nutritional resources, and treatment areas.
On top of that, the men’s locker room will be named after Chris in his honor.
“Giving back has always been important to my family and me, and Wake Forest is part of my family. The recent investments towards improving Wake Forest Athletics are amazing, and now is the time to give back in a meaningful way,” Chris says.
