Paster John Gray is well-known and respected in his community of Greenville, SC as the pastor of a megachurch and in the faith-based community within our country. On Thursday, Gray was apart of a meeting for prison reform with the Trump administration and other black pastors within the community.
Ohio pastor Darrell Scott, who was an early Trump supporter, named 45 as the “most pro-black president of our time.”
“This is probably the most pro-active administration regarding urban America and the faith-based community in my lifetime,” Scott told the group, adding, “This is probably going be … the most pro-black president that we’ve had in our lifetime.”
I guess he wasn’t around while Obama was in office…
Gray is responding to the drama letting people know that God instructed him to attend the meeting, and that he did so for the greater good.
It was my great honor to be joined by leading pastors and faith leaders from across our Nation today at the @WhiteHouse! pic.twitter.com/6sS1zGA1p7
