Laquisha Jones, 30, has been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after beating 91-year-old Rodolfo Rodriguez in Southern California. It incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on July 4th on a sidewalk.

Neighbors witnessing the brutal scene say Jones was yelling, “Go back to your country,” or “Go back to Mexico,” calling the indigent “racist.” Another witness caught the aftermath on video, showing Rodriguez on the ground dazed with a bloody face. It is being reported that 3-4 men also joined the attack.

The motives for the beating are still unknown. Jones remains in jail on a $200,000 bail.
