I checked out Live Stream From Hell with Kevin Hart, Kai Cenat and Druski, and overall… I thought it was cool for what it was.
To me, this movie really felt like Kevin Hart returning the favor to Kai and Druski. They brought Kev into their world of streaming and content creation, and now he’s bringing them into his world of movies.
The story is basically Kev thinking, “I’m a Hollywood superstar. If I jump into this livestreaming world, I’m about to change the game.” So he invites Kai and Druski over to show them how streaming is really supposed to be done.
Then everything goes left.
People start turning up dead around the house.. nobody knows who the killer is, and from there you get this mix of comedy, horror and internet culture.
I’m gonna be real tho.. if you’re not tapped into the streaming and content creator world, a lot of this movie probably isn’t gonna hit the same for you. There are definitely some funny moments, but a lot of the jokes, references and personalities are built around that online world. So if you don’t follow Kai, Druski, AMP or that whole space, some of it might go right over your head.
There are some dope cameos too, including La La Anthony, Sexyy Red and members of Kai’s AMP crew, which definitely adds to the fun.
In the end, I wouldn’t call Live Stream From Hell a must-watch movie. But if you’re looking for something light, you’re familiar with these guys, and you want a few quick laughs, I’d say check it out.
I’m giving Live Stream From Hell 2.5 out of 5 stars.
