Blink-182 has sparked fresh attention around Take Off Your Pants and Jacket after sharing a teaser tied to the album’s upcoming 25th anniversary.
In a new online post, the band used imagery connected to the 2001 release and directed fans to sign up for more information. No specific details have been confirmed yet, leaving open whether the announcement will involve a reissue, special merchandise, live plans, or another anniversary project.
Take Off Your Pants and Jacket was released on June 12, 2001, and became one of blink-182’s defining albums. The record helped push the band further into mainstream rock and pop-punk, following the success of Enema of the State.
The album includes several of the group’s best-known songs, including “The Rock Show,” “First Date,” and “Stay Together for the Kids.” Its mix of fast hooks, humor, and more serious moments made it a key release for early 2000s rock fans.
For now, the band has only teased that more information is coming.
