Metallica has expanded its Life Burns Faster run at Sphere in Las Vegas to 24 shows, adding four more dates in March 2027. The band said the latest additions are set for March 4, March 6, March 11, and March 13, extending the residency beyond its original fall 2026 schedule and pushing the run into early 2027.
The announcement follows a rapid buildup for the residency, which was first revealed with eight October 2026 performances before more dates were added in later waves. Life Burns Faster now begins on October 1, 2026, and will close on March 13, 2027.
The shows will continue Metallica’s No Repeat Weekend format, meaning each paired weekend performance features a different setlist with no songs repeated. That approach carries over from the band’s recent touring cycle and gives returning fans a reason to catch more than one night.
