DESCRIPTION: Sophomore albums are typically very hard to create simply because for many artist their first album is the one they’ve been waiting to make their entire lives. This was certainly not an issue for the incredible three artist that made up TLC. With “CRAZY.SEXY.COOL.” TLC harnessed all of the vocal talent and creativity that was shown on their debut (Ooooooohhh… On the TLC Tip) and combine it with more mature themes that allowed each member of the group to show off their growth. I don’t want anyone trying to come at me for saying “Sumthin’ Wicked This Way Comes” is the best song on this album either. I know “Creep” and “Waterfalls” were all-time hits but there is genuinely much more to this project then those songs. It’s is a project built out of the uncertainty faced by each of the three women in the group, and each song highlights thoughts and emotions that come with being in your 20’s.The album providing a looking glass at a time in life when you’re expected to have it figured out when realistically that’s simply not possible.
