Just went through a break up? Are you willing to listen to 24 hours of breakup songs for money?
You have until January 31 at midnight to apply on Finance Buzz for the “DJ of Heartache” position. You must live in the United States and be at least 18 years old.
Per Finance Buzz:
“We’re looking for someone who has recently gotten out of a relationship to listen to 24 hours of heartbreak-inspired songs. Breakups are never easy, and they can be costly! We’ll pay the hired DJ of Heartache $1,100 to listen to some of the most infamous heartbreak hits, then categorize them into 5 new playlists to become the soundtrack of every breakup phase.“
- Denial
- Anger
- Relapse
- Depression
- Acceptance (or as we like to call it – moving on!)

Finance Buzz will choose the “DJ of Heartache” by Feb. 2, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The “DJ of Heartache” will have until Feb. 6 to listen to the full playlist and then the winner will have to create five playlists of their own.
