It’s been a minute since I’ve gotten the chance to be a part of this. Some people on the Onslow County got to together to throw a block party on Saturday October 16, 2021 at a park in Jacksonville so that kids, adults and families could get together to play cards, socialize, play basketball, eat food and listen to some good music…provide by yours truly! Even before Covid hit, we as a community has gotten away from things that brings a community together and when you get a few people to team up and pitch in, throwing a free, fun event is a piece of cake! I hope other communities in the ENC get together and do the same!
