Hey dog lovers! If you’re looking to adopt, Adoption First Animal Rescue in Jacksonville, has over 60 dogs at their location looking for homes. Adoption First Animal Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue based in Jacksonville, NC and are currently only doing dog adoptions. I had the pleasure of meeting three of those dogs at the fundraisers they were having at both Jacksonville Pet Smart locations.
5 year old Charlene is an American Staffy and she has to be the ONLY dog annnnd NO CATS in the house because she wants all the attention!
To adopt, go to Adoption First Animal Rescue’s Facebook page and fill out an application to set up an appointment to meet these loving and adorable dogs.
I also spoke with Andrea and Simeon and they informed me they were having fundraisers because the trailer with all their supplies for their events was unfortunately stolen. Inside the trailer were dozens of dog crates, tables, tents, banners, leashes, dog clothes and more. An estimated cost to replace everything inside is roughly $8,000-$10,000 and they still haven’t finished going through their asset list to get a definitive amount. And the cost to replace the trailer itself is estimated at $4000.
