Some of us have watched Queen Naija grown from having a YouTube page in 2015 with ex husband and watched as her photos and page went viral. We followed her from there to when she decided to take music a little bit more seriously. Taking her pain from the hurt her marriage caused and blossoming into this powerful and soulful songstress, Queen Naija’s R&B album titled “missunderstood” earned her the at #1 on Billboard‘s Top R&B Album rankings. This full-length album includes contributions from Lil Durk, Lucky Daye, Russ, Mulatto, Jacquees, and more. Queen posted on Instagram celebrating her accomplishment of the album by also addressing how when she first signed to Capitol Records we found out she was pregnant and everyone had comments saying her career was going to be compromised because of it. Queen Naija shows us that just because you are young with children, that does not mean you can’t make things happen in your life. If you have something you want to do, it is never too late to start. The time is now.
