Being that alcohol sales are on the rise during this current pandemic, the World Health Organization wants the government to limit the consumption of alcohol. They say that during times like these, alcohol can increase health and mental health issues, violence and risk-taking behaviors.

According to CNN, alcohol sales have increased 55% nationally. Ready to drink cocktails like spiked lemonade and canned gin & tonics have increased in sales by 106%. Beer drinkers are stocking up on 24 and 30 packs, which have caused those sales to increase 90%.
