The House, the Senate and the White House have all agreed on the new $2 trillion stimulus package which means Americans will now be receiving direct checks from the government due to the coronavirus.
Individuals who earn $75,000 in adjusted gross income or less would get direct payments of $1,200 each, with married couples earning up to $150,000 receiving $2,400. If you have children, you’ll get an additional $500 per each child.
The bill would also provide billions of dollars in aid to hard-hit hospitals struggling to deal with the outbreak as well for state and local governments that are cash-strapped due to their response to coronavirus, bolster unemployment benefits, offer loans, grants and tax breaks to businesses large and small and flush billions more to states, local governments and the nation’s all but overwhelmed health care system.
