A public memorial for Kobe and Gigi Bryant has been set for Monday, February 24th at the Staples Center in L.A. The date, 2/24, is in honor of Kobe and Gigi. The number 24 for Kobe, and #2 for the jersey number Gigi wore.
Vanessa announced the service and organizers are expecting a huge turnout. So the main issue will be crowd control, being that this is the same place Michael Jackson and Nipsey Hussle’s memorials have been held. The Staples Center, where Kobe played his whole 20-year NBA career, holds 20,000 people.
The event will include several high-profile people speaking on Kobe.
