R. Kelly Fears for His Life in Prison

This week has been eventful for R. Kelly. He was arrested while walking his dog in Chicago, to be indicted on charges in both Illinois and New York. He was denied bond during his hearing on Thursday. Prosectors claim to have sex tapes showing Kelly having sex with underage girls.

Now that he is being bars, R. Kelly is allegedly scared for his life. Fearing retaliation from fellow inmates who know of his accused sex crimes with underage girls.

His Attorney, Nicole Blank Becker, says during a recent visit Kelly told her solitary helps, he believes in general population he would be in danger. He simply feels safer by himself. His attorney added that Kelly cannot read or write, which can make things more difficult.

Kelly has access to 15 minutes MONTHLY on the phone to speak with family and friends. No TV or internet. Gen. pop prisoners have access to the phones all the time.
