August Alsina was recently hospitalized after he was unable to walk or feel his legs. The singer posted on Instagram, keeping fans up to date of his health condition. In 2017, August revealed that he suffered from a severe autoimmune liver disease. One that both his father passed away from.
In the Instagram post, August tells fans he woke up one morning unable to walk and he is currently in the hospital under doctors ordered to get a few test done. He says he has nerve damage throughout his body and will need to do rehab.
“We’re doing a bunch of tests and they’re saying I have some nerve damage going on throughout my body,” August explains. “It’s like my immune system went on vacation. So, I’m just waiting on it to come back and we can get together and it can do what it do, man.”
