The lucky winner of the $344.6 million Powerball jackpot won their ticket from a grocery store right here in North Carolina. The winning ticket was sold at the Carlie C’s in Hope Mills, who will get a $50,000 award for selling the ticket.

The winner has 180 days to claim their prize. They will have the choice to take home $344.6 Million in 30 payments over 29 years or a lump sum payment of $223.3 Million.

The winning numbers in Saturday’s drawing were 6–15−34−45−52 and the Powerball was 8. The ticket matched all six numbers.

This win marks the fifth time that our state has had a jackpot winner and the seventh time that our state has had a Powerball or Mega Millions jackpot winner.
