A new survey ranks our state among the 10 worst for jobs.

Wallet Hub is out with its 2019 rankings for best and worst states for jobs.

North Carolina ranked in the bottom 10 at 42nd place.

The top three states are Massachusetts, Washington and Colorado.

West Virginia is ranked last.

Wallet Hub compared 33 indicators of job market strength, like employment growth, unemployment numbers, median annual income and average commute time.
