Police Identify Victims of Greenville Apartment Complex Shooting

Police have released the names of two people who were shot during a home invasion Sunday night at an apartment in Greenville.

On Tuesday, Greenville Police said Stephen Andrew Polansky, 22, and Michael James Polansky, 20, were released from Vidant Medical Center, where they were treated for gunshot wounds.

Investigators say the victims were shot at 7:30 Sunday night during a home invasion at Carolina Creek Apartments, located at 2220 University Suites Drive, formerly known as University Suites.

The victims told police two black males wearing black hoodies forcibly entered the apartment and fired shots at them.

The suspects then left the area on foot.

Police are still trying to identify suspects in this case, but they said they do not believe this is a random act.
