An Ethiopian Airlines flight, crashed just minutes after taking off over the weekend, killing all 157 people on board. The flight was heading to  Nairobi, Kenya when it reported technical problems and crashed minutes later. This is the second time in 5 months that a new Boeing aircraft crashed just minutes into a flight. In response, airlines in several counties have grounded their Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircrafts. Back in October, a Lion Air flight, of the same model, crashed into the Java Sea, killing 189 people.

On the flight were 8 Americans, and people from across 35 different nations including a Georgetown law school student from Kenya, a noted Nigerian-born scholar Pius Adesanmi and the family of a Slovakian lawmaker.

Prayer and condolences to all the families.
