Tekashi better be ready for a long term hide out. After taking a plea deal for 9 charges, including racketeering, conspiracy, firearms offenses, narcotics trafficking and other crimes, it seems like Tekashi’s cooperation with the Feds will get him no jail time at all. The rapper faced 47 years in prison as a minimum and a max of life behind bars, and now… nothing.

According to TMZ, the U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York agreed “not to prosecute [69] for the crimes set forth in Counts One through Nine.” In addition, prosecutors agreed not to go after 69 for crimes he told prosecutors about but have not yet been charged. The plea deal also says, “It is understood that the defendant’s cooperation is likely to reveal the activities of individuals and that witness protection may be required at a later date.”

Of course, we won’t know his actual sentencing until Jan 2020, but his plea deal is based off of his continuous cooperation.

Witness protection may definitely be needed for this one.
