After pleading guilty to 9 counts of fed crimes including racketeering, conspiracy, firearms offenses and narcotic trafficking, and basically snitching in court on the Nine Trey Bloods, Tekashi69 is paying out extra money to keep his family safe from anyone looking to get revenge on him. Tekashi’s lawyer says that the government expects the money for his family’s private security to come out of his own pockets since he has the money to afford it. She says that if at some point Tekashi can no longer afford the security for his mother, the government will step in. 

His BM on the other hand, has her own 24/7 security that she is paying for to protect her and their 3-year-old daughter. Tekashi is not in contact with them. 

He is set to be sentenced next January, in 2020. and his plea deal requires him to continue working with the feds.
