Sunday night brought out some of Hollywood, and black Hollywood’s favorite actors and actresses for the 2019 Golden Globes. Awarding those in TV and film.  “Green Book” was the top winner of the night with 3 awards including Best Comedy Motion Picture and Mahershala Ali (Marvel’s Luke Cage, Moonlight, Hunger Games) Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture. The two other winners of the night tied with two awards each, “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Roma.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Other winners of the night include, Regina King for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture in “If Beale Street Could Talk”.

In the world of TV, “Kominsky Method” won the best comedy prize and best actor in a TV comedy for Michael Douglas. The series tied with “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” for most wins, with two. “Gianni Versace” claimed the best limited series award and best actor in a limited series for Darren Criss.
