A woman in Washington, NC has been banned from Bath Elementary School after threatening a Beaufort County School Bus Driver, according to deputies. Around 4:00 p.m. on October 24 the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about an argument between a parent and a Beaufort County School bus driver.

According to WNCT, “Deputies arrived on the scene and were informed that the bus driver was confronted by an angry parent claiming the driver had dropped her child off at the wrong location. The driver reported during the altercation, Karly R. Gurganus, 21, of Washington, tracked the bus down, got out of her vehicles, aggressively approached her window and threatened her with bodily harm while using profanity in front of the children on the bus.”

Camera footage was seen from the bus and Karly was charged by a Beaufort County School Resource Officer with one count of disorderly conduct on a school bus. She was arrested on Monday and given a $3,000 bond.

Karly is also banned from entering the property at Bath Elementary School for the remainder of the school year.
