Currently, Mel is under investigation after a photo with a fan turned into a physical altercation. The incident happened on Saturday night after a hotel fashion show, where the alleged victim, Dujuan Thomas walked the runway.

According to TMZ, “Thomas ran into the Spice Girls backstage and asked for a photo with the singer. At first, Mel agreed to the photo-op, but things took a turn for the worse when the model trashed the photo and asked for another .” The victim said Mel hit him in his chest with her right hand.

In the report of the victim he says, he ran into the singer again, late that night, and when she recognized him, she hit him with another blow to the chest.

The incident was reported in the following morning but the victim did not report any injuries. The L.A. City Attorney will decide if they want to prosecute.
