Ou forever First Lady Michelle Obama continues to give us good vibes. Since she has left the white house and while she was there she has always been working non-stop. Recently she announced her new initiatives. Recently while on the TODAY Show, Michelle announced Global Girls Alliance, this is the new Obama foundation initiative that aims to empower girls around the world through education.
During her interview, she says, “When you educate a girl, you educate a family, a community, a country.” Via the Chicago Tribune, “The announcement signals how Obama will use her influence as a former first lady now that she has been out of the White House for more than a year.”
This is the first program Michelle has launched through the foundation, which is also based in the South Side community where she worked an lived. The foundation is also responsible for constructing the Obama Presidential Center. Michelle work never stops and that is what we love about her.
