East Carolina University has cancelled classes through Monday, September 17. The employees are under condition 2 until further notice.
ECU administrators say all students are highly encouraged to travel home before the tropical storm force winds are expected to begin in Greenville on Wednesday night.
The East Carolina area may experience downed trees, prolonged power outages, blocked roadways, closed bridges, and disruptions to water / sewer supply.
