Childish Gambino dropped a new video for “Feels Like Summer” and it features several animated appearances from some of the culture’s biggest celebrities.
If you take a look at the video Childish Gambino is walking through a neighborhood surrounded by various artists, including Drake chasing future on a bicycle, Minos playing basketball, Travis Scott and Nicki Minaj playing together (and Nicki becoming visible upset), J. cole watering the lawn (and other rappers), 21 savage and Metro Boomin’s smoking in a car, Kanye West wearing a “Make America Great Again” hate and being embraced by Michaelle Obama, Gucci Mane relaxing and many more.
Chance the rapper, Jaden Smith, birdman, Lil Uzi Vert, Snoop Dogg, Lil Yachty, Lil Pump, and more are also seen within the video at different points.
The animation was directed by Childish Gambino, Ivan Dixon and Greg Sharp. Visual artist Justin Richburg worked on the design for the characters.
