Colin Kaepernick Trademarks ‘I’m With Kap’ For Clothing Line

Colin Kaepernick’s message is coming stores soon. Via TMZ Sports, they have learned the QB has filed an application to trademark his signature “I’m With Kap” slogan for a clothing line. Colin’s has been using his slogan since his run-in with the NFL.

The hashtag #I’mWithKap took off on social media, and celebrities like G-Eazy, Kenny Stills and Harry Belafonte were wearing shirts with the slogan on them. Colin has filled the paperwork in California to own his slogan for the use of shirts, hoodies, caps, and other apparel.

There have been some news floating around that clothing brands like Adidas and Puma, could make a move to sign Colin in the future, so owning the trademark could mean big business for him. Others believe that Colin is not hard up for the cash because he has made more than $40 million in contract money during his NFL career and he also had several sponsorships.

Colin has been heavy on philanthropy, he has donated $1 million of his own money to various charities and non-profit organizations, including his “Know Your Rights” campaign.
