An announcement was made on Wednesday (Aug. 15) that Travis Scott will join to executive produce the NBA 2k19 soundtrack.
The announcement came about with a coinciding video conversation between Travis and the NBA 2k19 cover star LeBron James. Travis tells Lebron, “It’s an honor. It’s dope. I always like a chance to be able to curate music. I play 2k all the time, play with m homies mostly. I picked up 2k a year or two ago, but it became a super addiction.”
Travis will also make an appearance in the video game. The curated soundtrack is expected to include a “variety of current hip-hop and pop artists providing high energy and a fresh listening experience for all virtual ballers.” according to 2k sports.
