Chance the Rapper Drops 4 New Songs

Last week it was rumored that Chance the Rapper was dropping a new album and that did not happen. But he did drop four new songs. The songs are available to stream on all digital platforms, “I Might Need Security,” “Work Out,” “65th & Ingleside,” and “Wala Cam” featuring Supa Bwe.

These four songs mark the new music of the year from Chance since last year’s Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama: Re-Wrapped, his collaborative mixtape with Jeremih. Based on the Chicago Tribune, Chance was set to coincide with the Special Olympics 50th Anniversary Celebration Concert. Chance tweeted, “Sorry no album this week, def been in the stu tho.”

On one song – “I Might Need Security” – Chance announced that he purchased fledging news website Chicagoist.”

Chance is working with Kanye West on a 7-track project. The two artist started recording in Wyoming and Kanye is planning on heading to Chicago to finish the project.
