Actor Columbus Short has been sentenced to a year in prison for hitting his wife during an argument in November. He received 36 months of probation and domestic violence education. But since he was already on probation for a bar fight in 2014, it was seen as him violating his probation. Taking him from probation to a year in jail.
His wife went to Twiter to say “The media needs to check their facts!!…Columbus and I have a great marriage. Period. The media is ridiculous for posting this bs. I love my hubby and will continue to support him.”
In 2014, Short was also charged with domestic violence by his then-wife for putting a knife to her throat.
