Donald Trump must want to start his 2018 with a huge bang because he is STILL taunting North Korea.

On the second day of 2018, Trump told Kim Jong Un via Twitter that his nuclear button is “much bigger & more powerful one than his.”

Trump was responding to Kim Jong Un’s speech from Monday in which he said, “The entire United States is within range of our nuclear weapons, and a nuclear button is always on my desk. This is reality, not a threat.”

The reality of this situation is that Trump does not actually have a nuclear button on his desk. He does not have a physical one at all. So if Kim Jong Un really did press his, Trump would not be able to fire back at the push of a button.

According to NBC News, if Trump were to order the nuclear bomb, he would have to contact officials at the Pentagon using his unique codes. Those codes would then be recorded onto a card known as the “biscuit”, which is carried by the president at all times. Then the launch order would sent to the Pentagon and Strategic Command.

The United States has made it known that no conversations from North or South Korea would be taken seriously unless Kim gave up his nuclear weapons.
