Below is a list of the criteria for being on Carolina Focus

 

  • The topic should be relevant and have a general interest to the ENC community. Suggested topics include : health issues such as diabetes and sickle cell anemia, the arts, lifestyle stories, politics, and any other subjects that are of interest to the African-American community (Kwaanza, Juneteenth, MLK Day, violence, crime issues and trends, investment opportunities, money management, stress, teen pregnancy prevention, etc.)
  • Must be a member of a non-profit organization or group such as a local church, city, county, or government agency, the NAACP, sororities, fraternities, Boys and Girls Club, the Rape Crisis Center, etc
  • Topic suggestions must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the scheduled event for a timely air date.
  • The show will not entertain topics, subjects or themes that are "for-profit" such as concerts, fashion shows, etc. Commercial air time should be purchased for those type of events from a KISS FM sales rep
  • A letter, email or fax describing your topic must be submitted to Carolina Focus prior to booking you as a guest.
  • As always, public service announcements are always welcome.
