Kevin Hart underwent surgery over the weekend after being involved in a terrible car accident, resulting in him and his friend Jared Black to have serious back injuries.

We now learn that doctors had to repair 3 fractures in Kevin’s spine. The surgery involved fusing the fractures, 2 of them in the thoracic section, and another in the lumbar section of his spine. The procedure was a success but Kevin will require extensive physical therapy in the coming weeks, if not months. He is heavily medicated for the intense pain. 

Lumbar fractures can lead to difficulty walking, or partial paralysis of the arms or legs. Kevin is lucky, he is expected to make a full recovery.
